based on that picture, you DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT have the game registered to that account. The beta access is access that was given to you during 1.0 for 1.0 beta. i have it on my account as well under mog station but there is also a second tab that has the game registered. Either A) you have multiple accounts and this isnt the right one, or B) you never registered the game in the first place and need to get the code to add it to your account.

as you can see from the picture below, i have the beta service as well, but i have a second tab that is my actual game

This is correct. You only ever registered your beta key, the retail key came at a later date back then and you had to register it again. It would have given you two accounts, one as you're seeing which is a beta account....And then a retail account which would look something like this.......Oh, and they gave me a free week. Awesome!

The third tab is cause I'm greedy and bought an extra copy so some poor smuck out there can't play, and thusly there's less competition and more whining....Actually it's my boyfriends old copy, I registered it too for kicks.

Somehow I managed to activate my BETA PHASE 3 code for FF XIV ARR to my ONE and ONLY service account wich had the retail code ALREADY registered in sep 2010 ...After they released MOGSTATION the account status became just like the above Picture, but you can still see that I previously registered a retail code in sep 2010 in THE OLD account system ..

So It's possible, besides I googled a Little about this and there is sevreal players with this problem and there is ONLY one solution for it "Contact support" and they refuse to answer right now atleast..

I ONLY have 1 TAB ..You have 2 , I guess that means you have 2 service accounts.tied to your login name

    Nope, only 1 service account.

Sadly, I've been having the same problem as you and unfortunately support was about as useful as tits on a bull.

Still can't get in and guild is all on Hyperion which appears to no longer be accepting new players. So, even if I did get this crap resolved, I would still be relegated to joining a different realm/server as all my friends. Good times huh?

Nothing like paying $80 for a game that was so bad even the company decides to scrap it, then being told "don't worry, we've got you taken care of" only to find out they don't and you have no recourse.

I just filed with the BBB, so we'll see if that lights a fire (although I'm not holding my breath).

I'm sure many of you are currently enjoying ARR and I'm happy for those of you; but as one of those that got the shaft on this, Squeenix can kiss my ass and will never ever see a dime from me again.

out of curiosity did any of you guys who bought 1.0 and cannot play participate in the beta tests?

FF14 1.0 actually outlasted a few MMO's out there in it's tenure (Fury - the PvP centric MMO comes to mind).

I really don't believe anyone who bought FF14 1.0 is entitled to the new title. I picked it up for 20 bucks at Green Man Gaming. 20 bucks is nothing for the game and 30 days of gameplay.

Can anyone tell me whether or not we were supposed to receive an email notifying us about where/when/how to download ARR for those of us that purchased 1.0 and therefore were receiving 2.0 for free.

I think it's BS that Squeenix doesn't send out emails letting their old customers know how/where to get ARR. Wondering if it was just me that didn't get an email on this.

Ironically, I received emails about beta and about all the other crap they are tying to sell me. However, the one product I spent $80 on and was looking forward to, nothing :(

To answer your question, yes. All but the final beta test due to being far too busy with school and work.

So you think it's acceptable for a company to sell you a product for $80 that even they deem is so bad it needs a reboot...and offer you nothing in return?

Glad you're not making decisions then.

I got to the page where it asked me for the game registration code, which I cannot find.  So that ended it for me.  I will wait when it goes F2P to try it out, but not wasting any more time with SE bizarro stuff.
