Digital Sales?

If he can't get digital downloads to work by Monday 9/9/13, really I'm just joking but any word on when I can download this game, I know they ran into problems but' it's been over a week now and I still can't download it from the site anyone?

I hope it is soon. Have a few friends waiting to buy the game. Still can't believe they were willing to cut off their revenue flow for game purchases this long all because of infrastructure. Can't imagine how much money they lost.

Anyways, GW 2 suspended sales for 2 weeks and multiple times if I recall. You could probably expect the same or longer for FFXIV.  They don't want the servers to get screwed up again, that would cause more revenue loss then not having digital sales for a couple weeks..

It's all about long term revenue with an MMORPG.  The short term is nice but doesn't give you a profit.  I mean they even gave another week for free time.  My guess sales will start back up on the 9th since games registered before that get the additional free week.  So the 9/10th is probably when sales start back up.

Almost nothing.  Not like people could take their money elsewhere and spend it on another game.  If they were ready to buy it last week, they'll still be standing in line to buy it next week.

My wife and I canceled are pre-order based on all the issues they were having. We were going to pick it back up once they resolved the login issues.  Were both regretting that choice now for we can't find the game anywhere.

They almost had me. I just tried to buy. I even called gamestop, all pc versions sold out in the metro area. I don't know if the feeling will hit again when they start back selling.

se has box copys for sale but it take till next week to get digital sales should be up by then
