It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
If you are dead and need a rez, type this is shout:
need a rez please <pos>
The <pos> will automatically create a zone name and coordinates which are clickable in the chatbox. When you click it, a green waypoint marker will appear on your map.
If you want to ignore a gold spammer or some other annoying person, here's the shortcut to type out:
/blist add "Joe Goldfarmer"
be sure to include the spaces and the quotes around the name.
Hope this helps

Also if you get stuck on anything I have a heap of info on my channel on most things people get stuck on while leveling and doing dungeons. Link below!

Are you kidding? That's one of the things that make this title great, there is a sense of real community here. I wish travel was made just a little bit more difficult, and I wish there were harsher penalties for dying. Then people might actually attempt to learn how to play right!
But I still long for the good old days, when healers actually charged for raises......~~q:
I'm pretty sure that has to do with the fact that early access was extended so you still have these guys on free trial period from "easily obtained" pre-order codes. Once the extra early access time expires it shouldn't be a problem, which is one of the reasons why i'm seriously glad FFXIV isn't F2P.
Actually, it would appear they are more likely hacked accounts.
Need a Right click for hacked account gold sellers

I don't understand the point of a rez shout in this game when there's basically no death penalty and there's a quick teleport option in every zone.
It made sense in XI, but i just don't see it here.
Except gold spammers have been in every MMORPG I have played and very few of my games have been F2P. I'll concede that the amount of spammers may go down but let's not kid ourselves thinking a payment model will sway gold sellers. If the market is there they will gladly pay the sub. They been doing it in WoW since the beginning for example.... They do need a way to click a name to add it to ignore list as well as a report. I am confused as to why they do not actually.
RIP Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan and Paul Gray.
Quick update:
If a gold spammer or some other annoying person sends you a tell and you want to ignore them, there's an even faster way:
/blist add <r>
this will blacklist the last person that sent you a tell.
Those commands help.
Anyway, SE should just add a command "report for gold selling" when you right click on a name in chat, hire a few persons who check each time they get e.g. 10 or more reports from different accounts for a name and ban those gold seller accounts.
They would make more money that way as they have to pay for the additional staff. More or less like tax collectors.
