Just go with the Nexus 10, probably the best tablet for its price on the market.
I have the Nexus 7 and I'd say its the best 7inch tablet out there atm, I can imagine the 10 being the same.
yeah the 2 Ive been looking at are the Google Nexus 10 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
I was just wondering if anyone knew of any better alternatives or had personal reviews of these 2.
I read the Google Nexus 10.2 was supposed to be coming out soon too.
thanks again
i like/own Samsung galaxy note 10.1

for tablet gaming, i recommend the ios system - more games are available
many devs release on ios first, and android later (if at all)
examples of games on ios - unavailable on android
these are ios games that released in 2013

Unless Apple can turn around it's losing market share in the smart phone section which is now translating into the tablet section,I would say the times of iOS exclusives and firsts are going to slowdown and come to an end.Developers follow the money.
I don't see the 5c and 5s doing this except momentarily because of newness.
Pocketgamer is also very Apple biased since they started out as App store only and only grudgingly cover oter platforms.
That being said Nadia is right for the time being the App store has more games and lot's of exclusives and more that take advantage of a larger screen and denser display of the iPad 4.
Also right now in the 10 inch display market the only real contenders are Nexus 10and iPad,that will change by the beginning of 2014 with a new Nexus 10,Galaxy Note 10 and new players entering the 10 inch market
The 7/8 inch market is much more competitive.Android tablets are really still in their infancy unlike the smart phone market.
possible
but its speculation that android will see a newfound appeal for android gaming development exclusives
i saw this player commentary on Knights article

the main issue with Android from a third party developers perspective: platform fragmentation. With iOS, you have a clear and simple understanding of what sort of hardware your app will eventually be running on. Trying to keep track of all the various flavors of Android hardware is a nightmare, especially when developing 3D games which have much stricter requirements on what is needed to run them with an acceptable user experience. This and a higher propensity for piracy contribute to serious game developers choosing to focus more on iOS.
I have no preference for android and ios
but at present, the preferred tablet for gaming developers is the ios

There aren't any decent Windows 8 tablets available. The hardware to make one is there, but none have yet come to market, and it's not clear whether manufacturers can be bothered to care.

1.Godus
Despite their widely successful Kickstarter, 22Cans is still accepting backers and doling out backer rewards. Godus looks prepared to change the gaming industry, that it is on mobile devices is a huge step for the Android platform. Molyneux seems aware of his reputation for failing to deliver on pre-development promises, which probably — at least partially — accounts for the developer vlogs.
No official release date has been stated, but with 27 developer videos out on YouTube, Peter Molyneux is giving backers (and casual observers) the ability to watch it every step of the way.

Another strogn contender could be appearing at a reasonable price by the end of the month.
