They are stopping sales and making it last a month on purpose, they know there will be high player loss so stopping sales till the point when most will leave will mask that. It's a pretty clever move.
LOL...yeah..those sneaky folks at SE are just scheming away - it had nothing to do with the fact that so many people bought and were accessing the game to the point that they were having server problems. Nope...they just made the game to take everyone's money knowing full well that most people would leave after the 1st month.
Currently playing SWTOR and it's MUCH better than it was at launch.

Dammit! amber-r is right. How could i have missed this? I went back and peered into my Crystal Ball once more and there it was. Hidden behind the over populated servers, log in queues, behind the game's popular reception and high demand, It's there, hidden in the smoke screen. The game is suddenly going to collapse overnight. The day after the subs kick in, the servers will be totally abandoned.
But, seriously.
You guys already know that when SWTOR was deemed a failure, after all those players dumped the game, it still had a higher subscription rate than what SE needs to call XIV a success right?
