Best way for PS3 and PC to voice chat?

seeyouspacec0wboyseeyouspacec0wboy Member UncommonPosts: 714

So, if I'm playing with a friend who is on PS3 and I'm on PC what are good options for us to chat? Skype is all I can think of since I THINK that's on PS3 as well but is there a way to make it so that I only hear her when she presses a button so that I don't hear all of her background noise?

Thanks!

Real life brings repetition and pointlessness too. The only thing real life offers is Great graphics. Its kinda expensive too and way to dependent on the cash shop. Totally pay to win as well. No thank you. Ill stick to my games.

    Can tablets install VT/TS3?

Im trying to figure this out too for when I get a ps4 and plug my mouse and keyboard in. Controller players for hard mode dungeons = gil drains for the whole group :P.

Yeah, best option is for the PS3 player to run VOIP on a tablet or smart phone. I know for certain Ventrilo, Mumble, and TS3 are all supported (however of those I believe only Mumble has a free mobile ap). There's also... the old fashioned telephone, FaceTime, Skype, etc. And you can set most of those up for Push-To-Talk (or get a mic that has a PTT button).
