Can someone explain whats going on with servers?

I been gone to long to know...

 

So just need a brief history.

 

If I had chars on an archived server what does that mean.

    Ywain 1-10 is just one cluster. All chars from all other servers can be brought over to ywain. As for history, there is none really.
