Does anyone play this game?  Never gave it a try, but I'm yearning for some superhero action.  Are the servers busy?

I love this game. If you like super heroes then you should play this. You have a f2p option which is ok but subbing to the game is where you really shine. Its the one game where subbing is the way to go because of the freeform character creation. You will be able to make something really unique. The graphics are unique as the game world looks like your in a super hero comic book. People put down the graphics but i have never been a graphics whore. Give the game a try you might like it.

Just noting, Freeform is available for silvers as well, for a while now... it's expensive as hell but the option is there.

 

CO's f2p model is pretty good, similar to the models in Cryptic's other two games. There's one huge difference (as a matter of fact it's pretty unique among f2p games), the switching between the payment modes is heavily discouraged. So if you start as gold, it's better if you stay on gold, because if you switch back to silver, you either lose access to your gold characters, or you have to convert them to silver (and with it losing some gold perks and the Freeformed options)

 

Agree with the rest, CO is a cool game.
