Mabinogi is the game for you! Trust me....tons of character customization, pets, clothes, classes, crafting, social.....its pretty fun and still has a pretty good size community!
Mabinogi, Eden Eternal and Florensia are three cute MMOs that I found enjoyable.

I was actually thinking about playing it while ago, but the community seems pretty dead so I didn't.
