So everytime I try to sign in or goto http://www.everquestnext.com/ I get the error that the server is busy and page fails to load. Now I can access this no problem with my ipad, and tablet. Thats getting old really quick. Any ideas?

What browser and version are you using?

using both IE (10.0.9) and firefox (24.0)both have the same result. still weird that i can access them from a mobile device just not my PC. This is the only website from sony that has this issue btw

Just tried it on the newest version of chrome and it works fine.

You should be using Google Chrome, all the rest are garbage in my experience.

goto control panel

internet settings

click  on Advanced tab  (its the last tab to the right)

reset

 I am using explorer, and cut and pasted his address and instant load, don't think it is a explorer problem....Maybe older version or something, who knows, but not strictly a browser problem.

I'm indifferent about explorer, I prefer chrome.. to each his own..

still unable to load any of sony's webpages. even tried using a proxy. the pages just fail to load. went and tried on my wifes lap top, she has the same problem still i can access them from my mobile devices using the same wifi as well.

Using Chrome, copy and pasted the US address from the OP - accessed no problem. Took the option of switching to the UK site, again - accessed no problem  (registered for future betas while I was there).

yes i have tried that as well as uninstalling all browsers and reinstalling them

I know adobe flash settings have interfered with me using SOE sites in the past

I cannot find the exact notes about this from 2 years ago but this link may help

ok, maybe a bit of a long shot but you may want to try to access some of the pages in the US site, try the links below:

https://www.everquestnext.com/about-eqn

https://www.everquestnext.com/community

https://www.everquestnext.com/about-landmark

note the US site has the https prefix, and I'm seeing a lock symbol in front of these web addresses. For me this symbol is green, you may want to check your permissions which could be blocking it.

still no matter who or what I do i still cannot access this webpage. I even tried multiple proxy, changing the dns, mac address ect. Im at a stump.

By any chance are you trying it from a work/school network? alot of networks ban sites like these... might be something like that.

I was play EQ for some time on and off the last few months. Decided to sign up for beta and havent been able to since the OP

I have finally figured out how to connect!! I had to factory reset the whole house, contact time warner, have a new ip issued, change a few settings in my ipv4, the router and mac address.

 

Anyways, how would this have happened? Being blocked or unable to access the webpage for so long? Just out of the blue?
