It was years ago when i tried it.

    Pretty much yes, I haven't played for a while as well but remember griefing is nearly impossible.

    Not quite FFA (Free For All) as I recall, there are factions and you can't fight your own faction (except in arena's) and not even every zone is a contested zone, but totally avoiding PvP would be quite hard.
