In our latest review, we take a look at R2Games' Eternal Saga to see how it measures up to the ever-crowded MMO competition. See what we discovered before heading to the comments to add your thoughts.
Wooosh. “What was that?” I hear you ask. Oh, it’s just the sound of me flying past on my glittery paper airplane. Where can you get one? Well look no further. Published by R2games entertainment, well known for their free-to-play games, Eternal saga is a F2P fantasy browser MMORPG in which your character helps to save the world from a demon invasion. Unlike their previous title, Wartune, R2 Games are moving away from strategy and more so into the world of fantasy roleplaying by bringing us an isometric top-down view complete with micro-transactions and an anime art-style environment. Oh, and more importantly, a sparkly paper airplane mount.

Why even bother reviewing showvelware? Leave this garbage for mmohut. Waste of time and resources writing reviews for these types of "games".
Just another one of those typical heavy microtransaction (even pay to win) focused games, graphics and all (mainly UI) we see more often than we'd like.
*sigh*
Why do games like these continue to come out?
If they review a few of those then people won't complain they rate a mediocre MMO 7 or 8 out of 10.

They got over a dozen other MMORPGs! How can they even develop for them all?
A patch once every year for each game if you are lucky!

This is one of "those" games that make me wonder who developes this kinda crap. Then i ask myself: what kind of company funds the developer?
And then suddenly i feel bad, because there has to be some people that actually play and pay,.... seriously. What is with the flood of games that look and feel like they have been made in a day (drunk)?
MMOs finally replaced social interaction, forced grouping and standing in a line while talking to eachother.
Now we have forced soloing, forced questing and everyone is the hero, without ever having to talk to anyone else. The evolution of multiplayer is here! We won,... right?
Considering how many ludicrously pointless unique NPCs there are, each with their own individual portraits (not counting repeats), the artst that drew the character art for this game probably spent more man-hours on it than the time needed to program it.
It'll probably pay off, too, I imagine. They just have to hook a few whales...
I dream a dream that someday people will stop playing (well, paying I guess) this kind of crap games which in turn would make the developers either stop making them or actually force them to make decent games.
Well, at least lulz are to be had about human stupidity...when on one hand you have AAA titles and ppl QQing that 12-15$/month is too much (I honestly don't know what else I can buy for 12-15$ and it provides me with a whole month of fun), and on the other hand u have people forking hundreds if not thousands of $$ to some crappy P2W games. Or 50-70$ for singleplayer game that lasts idk...4-8 hrs?
Quote... aahhahaha

Getting to level 40 to bring us this review.
That is dedication for you.
Actually, you'll find that playing this you'll hit level 20 in about 15 minutes, It's seriously the least involving game ever.
Did not even bother reading page 2. I don't even see the point why anyone would even bother playing it. It makes all the decisions for you. Unless of course you don't really want to play and just let the computer do it all for you.
Personally, it is hard to believe someone actually wasted their time designing and writing this game. Seriously, they need to find another line of work.
Their ad money is as good as any other company, no matter the quality of the product
This game is hilarious to try. I don't really know why, but I tried it and the author wasn't lying about everything being totally automated. I didn't know how to turn the automation off so my character literally was completely doing quests by itself without my input and I couldn't even tell it to stop. It's literally a game that plays itself. Why anyone would be entertained by this for more than a few minutes I don't know but it was surreal to watch.
Exactly this. I hate R2 for destroying CoS >:(
