What is PvP like in TSW?

I purchased TSW some time ago but it just didnt do it for me for some reason.  There was nothing wrong with it, I just didnt find myself interested in playing.  I am thinking about giving it another go since there have been many updates to the game.  What I can not find is any info on PvP.

 

It is kind of odd but TSW's website does not say much of anything about PvP nor does a web search reveal anything informative.  So.... Is PvP open world, instanced or both?

there is instanced small pvp like your typical battlegrounds and then there is Fusang. Fusang is like GW2 WvWvW but in a city with 3 capture points if i remember correctly. I only tried it once and i liked the idea of it quite a lot. However, it was dead... 1 dragon vs me and 2 other templars vs 8 iluminati. I got tired of being one shot dead by the higher tier guys (everyone is mixed regardless of progression). Im not a pvp fan but i wish more people did Fusang, it has a cool concept.

 

No open world pvp. Sadly, the game has three factions that take care and cuddle each other...... hopefully future updates change that.

I like TSW a lot but PvP is really bad imo. You can get a superb PvE fix in TSW but it does not offer much as a PvP game despite of 3 factions and such imo.
