Linen deerstalkers for weaver is a no brainer if you're botanist 31+. What they don't say in the guide is, if you're 35ish adv level and willing to farm your own mats, you can grind felt stuff 46+ that sells on market and gives you a 200k (ish) turnaround in marketed crafting materia 3, plus the market income.

Then you get suspended and they take your stuff. Guide forgot that, too.

 

edit: breakdown, high 40s crafting items convert to materia 3. pretty general across servers cfm 35k+, ctrl 40k+, cp 11k+ , pretty much 1 in 3 chance any jewelery slot, left side leans to "not craft points"., spend 3 or 4 hours grinding you'll probably replace 6 slots.

 

you "are" converting and replacing those soulbound items, right.

Well there's a lot of blame to go around, but yeah that might happen.

Losers buy Gil.  Losers spend Gil on overpriced mats.  Losers get banned.  Sellers get suspended.  When sellers return, they no longer have the loser's Gil.

SE is accountable for this as well because of their lack of in-game GM support and the rampant botting that is going on.

Seriously a sub game with no active GMs is a serious issue for me.  Not everything is all sunshine and rainbows in Eorzea.  

Still loving the game however.

This outdated? Pretty sure I was repeating leves since 15. Just yesterday I created about 10 elm canes to turn in. None of them HQ but why let them go to waste?

Leve was acquired in the Gridania Inn, called something like "Nightmare ... something something." Anyway yeah, turning in HQ items for leves has filled 1/3 the leveling bar ... its crazy really. I didnt know that when it happened to is was a pleasant surprise.

Does turning in HQ items for the class quest also triple the XP? I think I tried doing that once for the level 5 (maybe 10) Alchemy quest (got lucky) but didnt get a bonus. I wish there was a quicker way to level gathering too

Good information, but atm Im spending all my levs on botany to try to catch up to culinary, because from my experience it is MUCH more difficult to grind gathering than crafting.

Trust me don't waste leve's on gathering. Instead use seals to buy Manuals from your grand company. Leve's can help you level gathering a bit faster. But they have you farming on nodes with mats you can't keep nor sell. It requires a bit more elbow grease, but you'll be richer and because of manuals you'll level at good pace. As long as you have enough seals to keep buying manuals.
