LF PVE game

MMOman101MMOman101 Member UncommonPosts: 1,787

I am looking for a smaller PVE game, I would not mind an indie game.  The game can be 2d or 3d (3d prefered).  I would prefer a WASD movement game.

I just want to find a smaller game that focuses on PVE and is not main stream.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”

Wurm Online has PVE servers and is a sandbox mmo but if that's a bit to much for you then try Vanguard.

I have played Vanguard a lot.  I was hoping for a smaller game.  Sometimes games with small communities and smaller worlds have an unique feel that is not present in larger games.

I might try Wurm.  I have heard some good things about, I  have given it a go yet.

No one knows of any smaller indie MMOs?  I hope FTP AA games have not killed them all off.

Ryzom would be one suggestion. its an older game, but the community has always been very close knit.

i'll try to think of more and post them if i can.

One could be called finite, the other infinite.
A finite game is played for the purpose of winning,
an infinite game for the purpose of continuing play."
