my point of view on content and value of GW

for people that think that there is nothing to do after 20 and the game have no content, 
i think you are wrong, the pve section of the game can take at least an hundred of hour(including side quest) to complete(without having to spend time leveling) and have a great storyline so if you think in a single player view and compare it to other single player game that is prety good and the game worth to be bought for that but when you get to complete all the quest you still have plenty of thing to do yo ucan try to get some beter equipment and start pvp and pvp is really fun and fast paced in this game, very balanced to.

if you compare it to some fps : for exemple doom3 and halflife 2(2 great game) the single player part take 2 day to complete. multiplayer part tough can keep you long but if you dont like it your screwed and spend a lot of money for nothing.

if you compare it to single player rpg : like most rpg you have a good storyline and many things to do and can spend many hours to complete the game tough in game like final fantsy you will have to grind a bit to lvl at some point in  the game(not all of them)

if you compare it to mmorpg this game offer most of the good part that you can find in mmorpg out there and get ride of the bad part(spawn camping,kill stealing etc).people complain that this game use instance but its done the right way i prefer the way the deal with instance then playing a game that have multiple server or shard since with those you cant play with evryone without making a character on other server and grind all the way AGAIN.

since there is no monthy fee this game as great value, i will get the fun for the time ill play

i think this game can keep me for 2 month(if not more) and if i stop to play for a while i will certainly come back when they get expension out.

Go and play the game you like and enjoy it, that the point of a game.

If people stop to considere this game ass a MMORPG and start to think about it as a GAME ,they will realise that they can play it and have fun  while still playing their favorite mmorpg.

 I find this game scratches the same "itch" as most MMORPG's, and I think most others feel the same.  Whether or not we can call it a MMORPG is semantics and not important, but I have absolutly no desire to play another MMORPG at the same time as Guild Wars.  I really don't think that people playing this game as a MMORPG has anything to do with whether they like it or not.

By the way an outstanding majority do like this game so who are you trying to convince?  I do agree with your point though that a single play through with side quests could easily take 100+ hours.  I wouldn't be surprised if there still isn't a lot I haven't seen by the time I get to that point.

well maybe i should  not have puted the part about being and mmorpg. enyway it as nothing to do with what i wanted to say, the purpose of the post is to talk about if the game have content and it worth the money spend on buying a copy.

its only that a lot people say that its not and mmorpg and wanted add  that for me its a game and if i have fun with it  ill play. i was not trying to say that it is not an MMORPG and i will personaly stop playing all the mmorpg im playing right now to play this game since i think that Arenanet really did it the right way and i have a lot of respect for them .
