Destiny: PlayStation Beta to Kick Off First

Bungie has announced that PlayStation 3 and 4 users will gain first access to Destiny. Pre-ordering Destiny for the PS3-4 will allow players to enter a special code. Those who preordered prior to October 1st will receive their beta access codes via email from the retailer where the game was ordered. XBox 350 and XBox 1 beta details have yet to be released.

The Destiny Beta will include a diverse sampling of major activities in the full game, and will begin in 2014 on all four announced platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Well that's because PS4 has about 10 fewer games at launch then xbox one they just thought they'd be nice and give them something good to play .

Actually PS4 has more launch titles that XBONE if all games are taken into consideration. That said, neither lineup is especially strong, so I don't think either will be bragging about their launch lineup anyway.

But anyways they have a nice breakdown of both systems including titles at launch.

CNN lists the exclusives but doesnt list how they got their count of launch titles

joking of course hey I don't think either is better review have said both look almost identical I'm more interested in what xbox brings out of gaming then what ps brings.  Also my friends and family are all on xbox live that's another reason I play xbox it's about having fun and if that's ps4 for you great it's xbox for me so good for me.

These next gen consoles don't look next gen at all. I remember getting wow'ed by next gen consoles, but now i am seriously underwhelmed. Maybe it's because games on my pc look much better than anything on the ps4 or xbone.

Yeah, the cnn doesn't seem to list the launch titles properly. Here are current launch titles updated as of the 7th of November:

As I said, I'm not saying that either really kills it. Between the two, I can't really see any exclusive titles that I am super excited about. Dead Rising looks nice, but so does Shadowfall. After that, it's sort of meh. I'll probably play some DCUO on my PS4 first and see if it can re-ignite the game. I'm definitely glad they added Blacklight: Retribution to the lineup. Very underrated game IMO. Just nothing, really, that I'd pay for (aside from the AAA shared titles).

Must wait till 29 nov.. pc isnt that better or you buy titan.. I always play on the pc 2x580 but now I kinda hyped with the games controller, share, co up of the ps4.. and infamous that trailer looked if playing in a movie..

Funny thing, all these games will look pretty much like the versions on the old consoles.  It will take them some time before games will be using the new consoles new abilities to any extent.  Always happens this way.  So I would not get too excited about how good your new game will look.

Sofar the only game that stands out in next gen graphics is killzone, rest looks like a PC port version.

I think whats more important is the variety, diversity and number of exclusives coming for each console in the long run or at least in the next year than whats at launch.  Because paying for a console is paying for gaming in the next  7 years or so as the last gen.  And in the long run for this gen so far PS4 has more variety and numbers of exclusives between it and Xbone...And much more indie/kickstarter games on top of that too.  Here I made another thread listing those exclusives too.
