Chinese service providers stealing email accounts.
After finding out I needed to have windows 7 or 8 installed as 8.1 doesn't work with the beta client, I did a clean install of windows 7. As I always do for beta registrations I created a brand new Gmail account with a new password. I created my QQ account for the CN Open Beta using the new email and same password to make it easier to remember. I was able to log into the game and play, was a lot of fun to be honest. I just wish I knew some Chinese! Anyway the servers went down for maintenance and about an hour after they went down I received notice from Gmail that a suspicious sign in attempt was blocked on the brand new email account.

"Let destruction rain!" from Asbel Tales of Graces f
I got it once because of my Battle.net account getting hacked.
I think it hardly has anything to do with B&S
This has happened to me almost exactly trying so new Asian game simply out of morbid curiosity. New email account used only on that game. Next day getting notices that someone is trying to "hack" my game account. Only place the email account was used and the only company that had that email address was the company for that game.
Think about how many people have access to player information that work at these companies along with all their F2P business partners.
I don't think people realize that the email account that you use for games is a very valuable commodity in the Asian F2P market for spoofing. Its a very profitable business and good money is paid for this information.
Hmm alright. I have an authenticator on my email though so maybe it'll make a difference.
I got my skype account stolen and someone used it from singapore, and this happened a lot of time ago and I never even accessed a chinese game. Also someone tried to access my mail from Russia, and another time from China; Again, at the time I didn't even know Blade N SOul or QQ existed.
Stuffl like that happens from time to time, is just random attacks to random emails acount they find online.
I doubt your experience had anything to do with QQ.
