ok Pure and simple, Yes Soloable untill the last 3 PvsE missions, (when i say soloable, i mean with hences) I know cause I've done it, at the last 3 maybe a few more before that, the hences start getting ya killed be attacking when you want them to run, and youre half dead already. just my 2 cents from someone whos played a good bit... as for later game PvsE theres alot of exploring to do. if you like Single player games this should work for ya, i mean most single player games don't go on forever right... and after ya meet a few ppl the PvP can grow on ya a bit ::::02::

You can solo to 20, if that's what you're wondering.

im a monk, and solo is very easy. if you consider solo a gruop of henchmen. ive done eveyr mission with only hench, just cant find normal people to guild with :/

just keep the other healer from dropping, go easy and everyting i have done so far is easy enough.

to give you guys an idea how far (or not far) i just finished elona before posting this, with henchmen.

It would also logically imply that I would have MORE experience with the game.  This, in turn, logically implies that I'm more capable of answering a question about the game than someone with less experience.  I'm sorry if this hurts you or belittles you in some way or another, but don't get mad at me, get mad with logic.

Your logic is quite twisted. Playing a game longer doesn't make you better at it than someone who has only been playing a short time. For example.. I mentioned I suck at grouping. Now, a friend of mine is amazing when he groups no matter how long he's been playing or what game it is. If I spend the next year on grouping.. and he buys GW.. he'll almost immediately be better than me (a day, maybe?) in that aspect.

I guess what I'm saying is.. maybe you're just not very good at soloing. For all I know you're the best groupmate ever. I'm not attempting to insult you.

    "Practice makes perfect"

"But nobody's perfect, so why practice?"

I'm sorry Slackker, I'm not trying to insult you either... but you say this and call my logic twisted?  Cmon man.

By that logic the NBA is full of just talented people who played basketball a short time, the NFL football for a short time and the NHL hockey for a short time.  They are just awesome at grouping.

Sure there is innate talent involved, but you improve your skill with practice.  That's why "practice makes perfect."  All these players practice almost everyday during their game seasons.  No one is going to hop into any of these leagues and compete with just some innate talent.

Anyways, you won't hurt my feelings if you want to think I'm not good at soloing, grouping or even clicking my mouse in GW for that matter.  So if that is your opinion, its fine with me.  But there isn't anything wrong with my logic.

I never said experience didn't make it more likely, but it in itself does not make someone a better player. Anyhow, this thread has gotten so far off topic (Partially my fault) that I'm not even sure we gave the original poster a decent answer.

Is GW soloable? Well, I'm sure we can all agree that without groupmates OR henchmen it isn't. Otherwise.. the only way to know for sure is it play yourself.

Can we at least agree on that, Salahuddin? I extend the olive branch of peace! =)

As an alpha tester that has tested essentially the ENTIRE GW world, you:
    DEFINITELY CANNOT SOLO THIS GAME
Exclamation point, period, end of story.  Don't believe me?  Fine, buy the game and PM me in a month.
You can maybe do the first few areas solo... but in any longterm sense, you will NOT be able to.

Umm that depends on your party and FYI Mr. Alpha Tester I just Soloed Elona's Reach with my Lvl 20 N/El and I guess that would have been attributed to dumb luck because as you've stated in early posts there is no skill in this game.  This game requires planning and requires you to make sound and timely decissions before you act and "dive" into a quest,  and yes this is geared towards multiplayer party......but you can solo depending on your "Luck" though.

    Thanks Crazy_Ranger image

I put luck in quotes to be sarcastic.  Once you figure out the monster patterns for any given level it's just a matter of timing and coordinating your attacks and exploiting the monster weaknesses and AI.  I won't use the term "skill" for fear of a nasty rebuttal from the resident Guild Wars Troll and pessimist Salahuddin.
