LF Strategy War game ish

I used to play Lords Online, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WW_DB85ZAYU) You basically had to build up your City, level up your building, train troops, level your Hero, which led troops to attack enemies. it had guild system and NPC villages and castles, Outer city Resource plants (Farms, Stone, Lumber Mills, Iron Mines) I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun playing it, but it has gotten shut down. Any suggestions? I'm up to try anything!

That reminds me of the old Heroes of Might and Magic games.    Turn based strategy games, I used to love playing them as single player.  

I was recently looking for a game like this, also for multiplayer.
