Hey guys. With all the posts on Wildstar it's peaked my curiosity and I'm trying to find out more about the world.
So is this an open world game or is it broken up into zones which require a loading screen? I always appreciated in WOW how each continent pretty much felt contiguous with zones loading in the background as a option to loading screens. So how does Wildstar deal with this?
Does the game have instances of each zone. So for instance, if load is high there might be 20 + copies of the same zone? If so how is this handled?
Different means of quick travel? I saw teleportation and supposedly there are tunnels that make travel faster? I'm guessing there will be flight paths like most mmo?
Does the game have a sparse, wide open feel to it, or it packed densely with content/npcs? I realize this is kind of subjective, but I like to explore and worlds that require you to fight for every inch of earth are exhausting.
Do the npcs of the world provide a good variety? Lots of different animal species, npcs look unique, have character?
Does this game perform smoothly fully maxed on a mid range rig? Good environtmental draw distances, weather, lighting effects, etc?

Based on that, It's probably going to be close to what WoW did. Instanced dungeons/housing, large continent based open areas. I dont have a problem with that system at all.
This is pretty accurate, but also add in that the starting tutorial area is instanced. ( 1-3 or 1-6) , it's one of those. This information is not part of the NDA , its been talked about for a long while now.
Housing
Dungeon/raids and small group instanced content
Battlegorunds/Arena/Warplots
and starting tutorial level
All instanced, but there is a very large open world continent.
