New Hobbit movie - possible spoiler -

So I went and watched the newest Hobbit movie last weekend with my wife, and enjoyed most of it, I thought the dragon looked awesome, just the way it moved etc..

But for those who watched the movie... wtf was up with that CGI gold statue from 1995, like really.. it was some of the worst CGI I've seen it a while, and I felt like they really dropped the ball on that one.

 

 

 

On a side note, I watched it in the 48fps 3D, am I the only one that gets bad headaches from the 3D after a while? like it just wigs with my eyes..

I dunno, I know 3D is the latest and greatest, but at least the way they do it at the theatre drives me nuts, i'll take my old polished 30fps 2D movies.. at least for a few more years.
