Since we don't really have many MMO launched this year but a lot new MMOs have launched over the last two years, I think it would be more interesting to have a player poll of the best New MMO for the last two years instead of just game of the year. I also included SWTOR in the poll since it launched at the very end of 2011 and it would not be fair to exclude it because of the unfortunate date. So vote away!
Edit: FFIV-AAR should be FFXIV-AAR

I think a few are important even if they aren't super popular.
TSW showed that you could base a game half in reality.
Age of Wushu is the first kung fu mmo which actually feels kind of awesome.
GW 2 inspired many other mmos to create something like dynamic events.
FF ARR builds on old EQ style with convoluted final fantasy mechanics.
Play for fun. Play to win. Play for perfection. Play with friends. Play in another world. Why do you play?
GW2 first and daylight second. It has been my main game for a number of months in the time since it launched, giving me hundreds of hours of entertainment. None of the other titles have given me any significant amount of pleasure at all.
Geez. Horrible list of games. Kind of shows how bad MMOs have been the last couple of years. I actually voted SWTOR on this one for no other reason that it's the only one I can say I wasn't completely bored stiff by. Even if my enjoyment only lasted about 4 months or so.
And no, I'm not saying it's even the best game on that list necessarily. I'm just saying it's the only game on that list I could stand to play for any period of time.
Played TOR, GW2, NW (beta), and TSW.
I voted TSW, I was surprised and really like it, the stories and quests are very well done, and I am a spacebar hitter a lot of the time. Just ran out of content, like themeparks tend to do. Been a lot of patches, so I may have to go back and check it out.
