I have three I really love, and no one has them listed. In no certain order, they are:
I also love Jason Statham flicks, especially The Transporter.

--------------------------------------
This movie was so subjective and horrible. The Hurons were the peacefull nation and they react and defend themselves, of course they did some "evil acts", but compare to the French, the English or the Mohicans, they were extremely nice, and the Hurons are the victims. You realize that the Hurons were 1 of the most widespread and biggest native Indians in the area, all the Great Lakes where Hurons lands.
The movie compare the Hurons to the Mohicans, however the Mohicans where 1 tribe in a nation...the Hurons were a nation. The English kill the Mohicans nation and send the few remaining against the Hurons.
The only Hurons who survived to our days are a small tribe who run from the Great Lakes and hide behind Quebec city(no hostile native Indian dare to slaughter them just beside Qu

[...History Lesson Removed for Space...]
However, if you ignore the nations named, the movie is great fiction.
Anofalye, there's no need to go into how the movie differentiated from actual history. This thread is about your favorite movies, not about "movies with real life basis". We all know the industry is in it for the money, and could care less about the accuracy of it to the truth.
The last line in your post sums up what this thread is about. The movie is a great work of fiction, but so are most movies.
Actually, when I saw someone posted this movie, I thought to myself "Damn, that was a good movie, I should have had that on my list too".
Let's stay on topic...
Editted for formatting...
