Exactly what I was pointing out in another thread. Gamer's tastes are changing, and many are asking for more challenging game play mechanics, or at least different mechanics which developers are slowly starting to deliver on.

@ Nadia I too will be 53 this year and I still play mmorpg's and arpg.
I recently met a gamer that is 82 years of age. Plays RPG's and MMO's. I myself am 58 and have played all sorts of computer games most of my adult life. I don't plan to ever stop.

its a truism about life -- age is a state of mind, attitude, more than actual years
I played mmos hard core (60+ hour a week) back in my late 30s
its easy to do this when you only work part time
I recently turned 52 and I'm still a fan of online gaming
