Forbes = ESO biggest failure? I disagree to a certain extent.

 

Emperors Armor = Looks amazing. Like I said in my video, I will never wear this armor.... but still cool nonetheless.

After playing almost 2 decades of MMORPGs and seeing how much they have come to suck in this day and age, if this game fails me I will probably give up for good. It's all been the same crap since WoW and all of them have fallen hard trying to copy it instead of being innovative like the originals.

I'm truly concerned as to its fate.... I really hope it works out, but they are DEEP into debt already - if people start cancelling subscriptions it will be a quick fate. I hope it works out.... they are banking on a big console following, which never happens with MMO's... Age of Conan ring a bell?

Final Fantasy 11 did great on consoles and 14 is doing great now on PS3, bout to be released on PS4 as well in the near future.  And Zenimax got bethesdas support too and that Elder Scrolls is a very popular IP on consoles unlike Conan IP.   Funcom was just lost throughout the entire development of AoC and didnt have anywhere near as much funding as Zenimax which is about over 200 million

How do you know they are "deep into debt"? I highly doubt a corporation would put all its money and future on one horse, especially considering the other studios and succesfull games thye have under them.
