Can you visit Skyrim in Elder Scrolls Online?

Hello friends and enemies!

Does anybody know if you can go to skyrim in TESO? I've been trying to find this information online but was unsuccessful myself. When you look at the the map of tamriel, the skyrim part isn't filled in. I'm wondering because it would be very cool, since I love skyrim and I'm still playing it, it would be cool to be able to go to skyrim in TESO and see how different it was 200 years ago.

Anyways, thanks for your time!

I'm pretty sure TESO's version of Skyrim would be tiny compared to the original, and devoid of most caves/dungeons/settlements. People would just bitch and moan about it not being identical.

Part of Skyrim is colored in.

Both the Rift ( part with Riften and the Goldenglow Estate ) and the Eastmarch ( part with Windhelm and the Eldergleam Sanctuary ) seem to be present.

    We are the bunny.
    Resistance is futile.

I'd love this feature, too, but I agree with the point that people would moan if it wasn't accurate.

A great list of free games (mostly MMORPGs): http://www.mytop10games.com/

    What this guy said ^.

You won't have access to all of Skyrim, just the part closer to Morrowind. The reason is that the other half isn't under the current King control. It's controlled by the crazy Reachmen.

I wouldn't be so sure as far as size of the world goes for TESO going forward.  While Skyrim may only have a part included at launch, ESO is significantly larger than any other Elder Scrolls game ever made.  The PvP zone is the size of Oblivion.  They said they took the actual map and made minor alterations to let players get around the land a little easier.

Skyrim would count as a large zone in most MMOs.

Skyrim in Elder Scrolls 5 is about 16 square miles.

The orriginal Skyrim zone wasnt that huge either, espescially if you compare it to MMOs...

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
