Group and Game

Okay I'm getting bored with my current MMO (PWI) so I thought I'd find a new MMO but as you other MMO players know, playing an MMO by yourself is boring to some people. Why not invite my friends from PWI? Most don't play anymore or don't wanna switch. So I'm looking for a new group of people to run with in a new game that no one in the group knows too much about. The game is as new to them as it would be to me. Let me reiterate; I want a group (small maybe 2-5 people) that have a game they want to try out for the first time themselves that no one in the group knows too much about. Basic info is okay like how the interface works, and what not. But I don't want anyone who has like a million max lvl characters or has been playing the game for 20 years or anything like that. I want to DISCOVER the game with the people I'm playing with.

As far as game specs, I don't care for the most part, but I don't do scifi. I would prefer swords, armor, magic, races, classes, etc. As well as a WASD character control. Click walking is a no-go. Other than that I'm game for just about anything. It can be chibi, it can be dark and gruesome etc. I don't care.

The way I work with groups... hmnn let me see. I do consider myself a helper. I'm okay with sacrificing time and (In game) money to help some one out as well as (if it comes to it) picking the class no one wants to help the  group better synergize. I have Skype but am open to other voice chat options. Voice chat isn't a must but It would help.

Thats about it. You can message me if you're interested or post here in the forum incase you're not what I'm looking for but someone else is.

A wonderful idea and though I myself cannot do this (school just started) having everyone start at once in a fresh MMO is brilliant.  My first question however would be what times you play from since, if playing as a group, level sync would be important (unless the MMO has level scaling).

Side note: If you want to try a new MMO and play it with a group my first recommendation would be Vanguard, hands down.  Vasy world and has a lot of group content, out in the open and in open area dungeons.  Plus Crafting and Diplomacy... it's also free so worth checking out.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the tip on Vanguard. I can play most hours of the day. My work schedule is kinda wonky so The hours are always different, but I do have a lot of time off. I'm currently going to start ASDA 2 with my girlfriend, but only when she has time to play so there will still be a lot of time to play the other new one. One that piqued my interest was Ragnarok 2 which I just installed so if anyone is interested I'm getting a group together. I've never played it and am looking for a group to start with who has also never played it or at least hasn't played much so it's still entirely new to them.
