I am looking for a new adventure

Hello

 

I am on the lookout for a new game, preferably MMORPG of some sort.

What I want is similar to what Runescape and or Tibia offers, to out it simply, I do not want a game that has a quest chain with or without secondary quest alongside the "main" quest chain, that goes on from the first level to the last. I know I am cutting the list short there ain't I? ^_^

 

I want a game that feels like I am on a journey or an adventure, I can go wherever I want, whenever I want, and approach whatever there is to do in the game in my own way. be it RP, or not.

 

I have been thinking that games like DayZ and all the game similar to it, may provide me with an experience like this.. despite them not being a MMORPG.

 

I have also been thinking that there may not be a game like this other then Tibia being the true experience I am looking for. That is why I am reaching out here and ask people that may heard or know of a game like what I am looking for.

 

I also prefer if the game is not too new, where so much is unfinished, looking for a game that is more or less a complete experience. 

 

I know EvE fits my criteria to some degree, but I have tested it, and while interesting game, I don't think it is for me.

 

Another thing that is very important to me is that sense of community.. In many MMORPG's nowdays that are quest based, everyone is doing their quests and never socialize, never groups up, mainly becuase the game never requires it, I am looking for something that actually requires that. 

Now you might say, warframe might be something to look into, but no.. whenever you group up in that game, everyone plays without communicating, and what I have experienced, you never need to communicate to beat the encounters in that game.

 

Not expecting much from doing this thread to be honest, because I cannot think of a game that I would want to play. but if anyone knows of one, even if it is not spot on with what I want, please mention it, so I can look it up. 

 

I also understand what I am looking for is probably very niche.. 

 

It'd would be probably back to Tibia or something if I cannot find anything

I think Vanguard: Saga of Heroes would fit well. It really feels like adventure with many interesting quests, dungeons and huge open world. Even has unique systems like Diplomacy that you wont see in any other MMO
