HELP: How do I force a game to use my better video card (dual video card, Notebook)

ElikalElikal Member UncommonPosts: 7,912

Ok, I may or may not be in ESO beta, but apparently this game which I can not name does not work with the Notebook's dual video card. You see my Notebook as a simple Intel video card for browser asf and an Nvidia for games. In 99% of the cases Windows 8 automatically uses the Nvidia card, when I start a game.

But, in the case of this MMO I can not say, it doesn't. Bummer.

Nvidia also has a setup software called Experience and this MMO also does not appear on the list.

So, does anyone know if there is a way to force such a MMO to use the better graphic card?

Thanks.

Disable the auto switching. That is what I did. Now I can play games with or with the power cord in.

Right click on the open area on the desktop, configure graphics. Prolly something like that.

On my AMD win 7 laptop its is easy as right click in the desktop, configure switchable graphics, and change it to whichever. I would hope that your would be something similar .
