I don't block them. But, I still occasionally get notifications saying that I am blocking them (which I know isn't correct).
My favorite ones have been the World of Tanks Banner ads. Not, too many years ago most banner ads I saw were also dumb little playable games. But I think maybe in the last year or so they got lazy and now most of those games are not even playable. you click it and you don't even get a chance to win or loose, it just opens the new tab or window. But, the World of Tanks ones are playable. It was actually one of their shoot the tanks ads that I liked so much for that fact off this site that I did end up signing up for the game.
Yup, I don't see any ads, here or anywhere else. I've signed no agreement allowing websites to show me ads, if they've picked ads as their means of making money, that's up to them, that places no obligation on me. They're more than welcome to ban anyone using ad-blocking software and I'm welcome to take my membership elsewhere.

I remember some years ago there was a sci-fi game that had loud audio in their ad. Ticked a lot of people off. Blocking ads are good. Remember that malware from ad last summer/fall? My computer security is more important to me than their income.
Kyleran: "Now there's the real trick, learning to accept and enjoy a game for what
it offers rather than pass on what might be a great playing experience
because it lacks a few features you prefer."
John Henry Newman: "A man would do nothing if he waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault."
FreddyNoNose: "A good game needs no defense; a bad game has no defense." "Easily digested content is just as easily forgotten."
LacedOpium: "So the question that begs to be asked is, if you are not interested in
the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"
Props to RIFT for their banner/skyscraper ads. They're hilarious.
So in keeping to this, which game ads do you remember are your fondest?
Aura Kingdom's "Find a Furry Friend" ad prompted my wife to ask, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THAT SITE AND WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR FURRIES?!?"
lololol
Unlike the others above, I have an interest in commercial art and enjoy some ads. If ads are funny (Geico had some really good ones); or have an epic theme they're not annoying.
The F2P ad years ago with the war game that you can shoot a guy in the privates, reminds me so much of F.E.A.R. and using a nailgun to nail them to the wall...just like that.

Scarlet Blade, that was epically funny.
No honestly, I thought Guild wars 2 and World of Warcraft, n future I'm looking forward to have Elderscrolls Online background ad.

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
