GUYS, I am excited to announce that EverEmber Online went open beta last monday! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO WENT ON WHEN THE SERVER WENT UP!

For Everyone who doesn't know what EverEmber Online is, here's an overview.
EverEmber online is an Oldschool, Sandbox, Openworld, MMORPG without class contstraints, with a unique crafting system, player based economy, a pet system, and a unique pvp system. You are open to do what ever you want!

Btw, to all the mods who scan this page, its not designed to be advertisement, its just designed to reveal a beta oppertunity for players interested in a game of this kind. We don' earn money off of this game and its donation driven, where the money earned from this game is directly spent into the website and game host!

What? It wasn't even released, if you ever read on the page, it said it wasn't released yet... why are you so negative... Just try the game on Monday 5pm eastern, instead of talking about the time you downloaded a game that said, in huge letters all over the website, that the server wasn't up yet...
Also, first beta was up this summer, a LONG time ago...

The game engine looks very familiar. Is it one of the Eclipse engines?

A fellow player names Trexx is trying to update it in a flash styled version, i'm working on making one useing ingame sprites, but that is far from done...

I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. :-) I would say building and finishing the game play is more important than a map.
It was pretty awesome though. I totally wasn't expecting to see that map.

I used to play an mmo back in the day that was like this from the late 1990's and I will most likely try it out but I do want to provide some feedback (and will subsequently do so in the game forums) but the 'media' section has a screenshot of the world map and the world map seriously looks like it was drawn on a piece of paper in the middle of listening to some boring lecture. I don't know if that's the theme or point of the game? But it honestly looks very unprofessional.
But I don't honestly care but i'm not that shallow but it was something that stood out to me when I was first trying to learn about the game and then I see that? lol

Actually, it was drawn by hand, its not during a boring lecture, but its a quick base map i made. If you check out the post i made before the one you made, we are remaking the map.
