Any suggestions for somebody new to MMOs?
My friend has finally decided he wants to try a MMO, but I seem to be bad at introducing him to them. He has watched me play, and finds it interesting, but when I try to get him started on his own, his experience is mostly soloing (or duoing with me), in mostly empty lowbie zones, with the only other players being alts busy grinding their way to the end game. SO, I am hoping somebody here has a suggestion for a game that is fun at low levels when forced to solo, but still has a healthy lowbie community to play with (or very sociable and patient veterans who don't mind grouping with a new player. Also, it would be great if there is a decent end-game for him to experience. Any chance a new server somewhere is opening which won't be so top-heavy for a while? Whatever suggestions you have to offer would be most appreciated.
