I'll wait a few weeks, maybe months and then get the game for $19.99 to $29.99. I'm a bit tired of being disappointed with buggy game launches, tons of people in the starter zones all trying to kill the 8 boars I need for my quest and the general lack of quality that has been the norm for MMO's launched in the last two years.
"Sean (Murray) saying MP will be in the game is not remotely close to evidence that at the point of purchase people thought there was MP in the game." - SEANMCAD
There is a big difference between 10 dollars for a movie ticket and 60 bucks for a game that will prob go free to play anyway. I cant wait till the NDA is lifted.
Can anyone confirm if they had the stupid surcharge for international money conversion buying from GMG?
Remember they are a UK company and last time I bought a game from a uk shop thinking I was getting a good deal the conversion and surcharge made me pay almost %50 more.

How much did we know about Mario before we bought it on Nintendo?! Lol pre orders are for the die hard fans who want to play it right away. No harm in waiting. That's fine it will still be here when you are ready to purchase if you decide.
I don't know what market you buy stuff in but I expect to know about most any product or service I purchase. The less it costs the more risk I'm willing to take. When a product costs $60+ up front with a $180/year maintenance fee, plus extra costs with transactdions fees (mtx, acct services, etc), you bet I want to know before I buy. Have you ever heard the term buyer beware? The onus is on the buyer to make smart choices. Foomerang's question is a very good one especially considering that Firor has outright lied and Zeni has been less than forthcoming.
After all this time and so many burnt fingers how can you in good conscience question someone for being cautious? Do I really need to make a game list of disappointed expectations after release because gamers didn't do due diligence with investigating before spending?
So before you go out to a movie you read all the spoilers? That alone + dinner is well above $60.00 if you got to an evening show and out to eat at anything above fast food.
I have no problem with being caution about purchasing, but throwing in the amount of the box copy is a bit oddity considering many MMO players are 30+ with families and I am willing to bet the price of a box is not a concern. You can't add in the sub fee at this point since you do not know if you are going to be playing for a year after release, and regardless less than a buck a day? That is some cheap entertainment for the year.
At the end of the day, if you are on the fence, hop on down to your nearest brick and mortar store (BB, Gamestop, etc) and go pre-order a physical copy that you can get your pre-order price back if you decide to cancel anyways. Cost you nothing but a stop on your way to or from work.
DL Gamer - the people I tried to buy Aion from and who sent me an email in broken English asking me to take a photo of my passport and send it to them so they could finalise my purchase. Yeah, right...
Then did not reply to my request for a refund, or when I raised a requisition through PayPal, so PayPal had to refund me directly.
Couldn't you find someone more reputable to partner with MMORPG.com?

Just because you can afford $60 doesn't mean that buying a bag of manure for that amount is a good use of your money, same with a sub. A sub may be cheap for a months worth of entertainment but having the sub doesn't mean its going to even BE entertaining.

If a movie was coming out that I had to preorder tickets for and the people who have seen the movie werent allowed to say what they thought of it, yeah Id pass on that film. If a restaurant wanted a deposit up front and didnt allow people to talk about their food, Id stay far away.

Dear Vonatar & mmorpg.com community,
Please accept our apologies regarding your bad experience in purchasing on our store 5 years ago.
Five years ago we were using ID or password validation in an attempt to make the process more secured for our customers, but we realized shortly after the implementation that it wasn't a good idea. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Please be sure that the process has been improved since your purchase of Aion as we at DLGamer really value our customers and their experience on our store.
In rare cases now we are using a verificaton over the phone, free of charge for the customers, but this is only way to verify suspicious purchase.
About the discount, we acknowledge that some other retailers may have a lower pricing than us, but for your information with the 5% off voucher code present here added to our general discounted price, the final discount for your purchase would be of -10% on both versions.
Concerning EU versions, our Standard version price is right now of 48€, which is the same than what Amazon offers in Pounds
code for gamekeysbuy is GKBT-ESOL-CSTV just used it and got ESO worldwide and multilanguage version US$47.99. can't wait, hope everyone jump into this game!

theres something like EU or US version?
In short, if i preorder one from US i will be able to use it on EU ?
That link says 3 days early access.. official preorder is 5 days early access. This just misinfo or is it actually different?
Whyyy would I do that if on amazon the price is 20% lower anyway?
I don't understand why the official site can be priced higher than other places. Rediculous.
