Im really not into hardcore or complex mmos anymore.
At the moment i dont want to get really addicted to a game cuz i got exams this year and i gotta study
Could any of you reccomend me a fun casual mmo? something like maplestory (not necessarily the 2d scroller type)

Ok so i guess what im rly looking for is a game where i dont even need a mouse. It can be strategic(dofus, atlantica) but doesnt require a mouse, as in i use the touchpad on my laptop or the keys.
Right now i went back to myth war 2 for nostalgia and its kind of dieing since there are no updates since god knows when.
But im looking for something along these lines.
Check out Eldevin. It's a browser based mmorpg with all the basics. It's got crafting/gathering good grinding, good dungeons and really fun pvp. After lvl 10 you get bolstered to max lvl so you can pvp right from the getgo. Games only 3 months old and you can play it from school at work wherever. Just need a computer with Java and a mouse and keyboard. Sounds about like what you're looking for.
Main Game: Eldevin (Plat0nic)
2nd Game: Path of Exile (Platonic Hate)
casual does not equal less difficult
casual just means less time required
While that is true if you're strictly talking about the definition of casual, however the OP does clearly state "complex" as one of the things he wants to avoid.
Yes... I haven't made myself clear yet.. The game i'm looking for doesn't need to be linear, i actually enjoy the complexity of games.
When i say casual i actually mean something i can play with the touchpad of my laptop, where i can even play during a break of study and that i can quit anytime.
I bought gw2 like a couple of months ago and i'm taking a break of it.
I'm at the moment playing dofus again, since it fits my needs but if someone has other ideas please do say.
Edit:And please don't say wakfu. the sandbox mechanics dont work very well when the game is pretty much dead
LOTRO is still pretty good for casual play and isn't very demanding on a system. I play it off and on my Surface and it runs nicely.
