Game similar to MO and DF?

Hi guys,

 

I thought I'd post here just in case. I got very excited about MO recently, but it seems the game is sort of dying. There's not a lot of players out there, and considering it's a sandbox where the players are supposed to create the content, I'd say it's quite a big problem if there are not many players in the game. Also had a look at dark fall, but it seems to have relatively similar problems.

 

So are there any similar games out there with a lot of players? Ideally a relatively new game. A few main criteria that I'm looking for:

1. Healthy playerbase (not a dying game)

2. Skill based at least to some extent (instead of target + click skill to attack, but rather using mouse to aim your sword or bow)

3. Loot PVP (either full loot or partial)

4. Additionally, an in depth crafting system is a big bonus, but not mandatory

 

So is there anything out there? I fear there isn't many games out there that fit all 4 criteria. Any suggestions though, maybe something that at least fits #1 and #2? Thanks a lot!

If you can play early versions I would like to encourage you to check our Gloria Victis. Our main designer was hardcore player in both those games.

Oh that looks really interesting. However, from what I understand, it's not even in alpha yet. I'll keep it in mind and maybe get back to it once it's a bit further along.
