No skill point cap?

ShorunShorun Member UncommonPosts: 247

Hi!

I had the chance to try ESO today and I really like it. But there is one simple question I can't find answered anywhere: Is there a skill point cap?

If there is no cap and you can earn as many skill points as you like it's pretty much a dealbreaker for me (and any other casual gamer).

This would mean that players who spend a lot of time in the game have all the ultimate skills, every passive bonus, etc. - the longer you play, the stronger you get.

So...is there a cap or anything preventing me from maxing out every skill?

Thanks and sorry, if this question already exists.

You can only equip a total of 12 skills, 6 and swap weapon for another 6. Yes, you can get every skill.. but you can't USE every skill at the same time, even the passives. For the medium armor passives you need to be wearing medium armor, same for all armor types. For the weapon passives to work you have to be holding the associated weapon.

So.. you don't get stronger and stronger, once you get to a certain point you just have more options to choose from. A skill point reset has also been confirmed so even without spending hours and hours on the game you can still explore all those options. People that are hardcore and grinded out every skill point just don't need to visit the skill reset place.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

a Character that has every skill maxed out will be exactly the same strength when using said wep/armor/class as a char who only maxes out say Nightblade/Siphoning/Med Armor/Dual Wield

the first character can just play different roles if wanted/needed

    Thanks for the answer!

I didn't have a look at all the skills, but if passive skills are always linked to the armor/weapon and not always intact, it's ok!
