What's your opinion? What are the five best things you have learned so far about ESO?

 

I feel like I can't see through all the negativity so perhaps a list of positives will help.

    Meanwhile, complaining about the game seems perfectly fine. And yes, i did get a Warning before for something i discussed from the videos.

    Well that's just asinine.  I've never seen a game so absolutely trashed as this by pretty much everyone before it even releases. Seems very odd to me.

    Aside from the fact that everyone who likes the game is playing it because the Beta ends soon instead of playing forums warriors, you should check this thread

    In whatever order:

    -No tab targeting

    -No kill 5 rats

    -Class +weapons + armor +?  allow you do tailor some weird stuff that fits your fun

    -Adult theme, no more sunday morning cartoon style

    -Rather slow approach for those who like reading and following a story and do not get rushed from hub to hub by their ADHD

    1.  It's the only upcoming major MMO with non-disney graphics. 

     

    2.  Character progression/skill system is great and allows lots of great options.

     

    3.  It got me to finally try Skyrim (first time this week).

     

    4.  Hey, looks like I found my next game!

     

    5.  Skyrim, yay!

    1. I won't buy it.

    2. I can spent $80 on porn

    3. I can mock those who buy it.

    4. I can buy it for $10 in half a year when it's F2P

    5. I can then laugh again at those who bought it early.

    It's fear. If people honestly thought it would fail on its own they wouldn't put in effort. Pure fear that once it hits the scene people will be there without them because they can't stop expecting it be just like their other MMO or Skyrim instead of a whole new thing.

    It may not be perfect yet but not one person on the planet has seen this game complete, not me, not you, not them, not the media, and not even the developers. No one truly knows what this game is going to be until the day it releases. I'll accept any game for minor flaws if it has the core features I want and this one is overflowing with them.

    Sorry, but every game i saw failing did that pretty much on its own. Neither did the negativity on whatever forum accomplished that nor did the positive spin of websites like this prevented it. ESO will fall in the very same categorie as AoC, WAR, LOTRO, Rift, TERA, Aion and the many more...
