Out of these upcoming titles which looks the most promising:
Darkfall
Trials of Ascention
Dark & Light
Middle Earth online
Hero's Journey
Vangaurd: Saga of Heroes
Personally I think Trials of Ascension has the most potenial if they can pull of some good graphics. I like the idea of permanent death it gives the game more replay value and prevents anyone from becoming too strong.
If I'm leaving out a game that you think should be here post it and say why it looks promising.

from only those then it's Dark&Light

Dark and Light.
only one that shows any innovation, moving in the right directin.
in my opinion middle earth online is just an attempt to con lord of the rigns fans out of their money and tap the big movie audience.

Such an ignorant statement. Darkfall and Trials of Ascension are more innovative than Dark&Light. Dark&Light doesn't have free for all PvP, perma-death, twitch-style combat, and player-run politics and economy.
Vanguard is the most promising, followed closely by D&L.
D&L could have a slight advantage due to the fact that it s going to be released earlier than Vanguard.
Darkfall is a good outsider if the Devs can implement correctly all the feature they want to introduce in the game.
Also Irth online should be included, apparently is taking over the canceled "Wish" by buying its assets and some copyrights, so good things might come.
I predict that the 2 turbine games D&D and LOTR will bomb, it s just my personal feeling so don't count on that
Im Amazed..... NOT!!!
Roma Victor! Oh, it's not there silly me. Should be tho.

Gee, I guess I need to do more research on upcoming games - I thought Vanguard would be the runaway favorite here...
im gunna have to say they are all going to suck hardcore, noone makes a good mmo anymore
No, D&L is the front runner for now because it is almost finished.
Vanguard is still in advanced Alpha and there are few information about it, let s see if something chance after E3, When Sigil will release lots of informations.
By the way I am following D&L too, I believe is going to be a great game, and the fact that they postponed the launch, is only positive.
It means that the Devs are really making an effort to do things right.
I swear, thread after thread of what's the best. . . If it's not WoW fanbois/grrls raging on about how it fits all genres of gaming its this obsession with Dark and Light. Since I'm bound by the most ridiculous NDA I've ever heard of I won't/can't say much. . . My prediction? Hype any of those other games and forget Dark and Light (shades of Mourning.) I'm a beta whore admittedly, testing whatever I can get into, and I still feel dirty from D&L.
Games that are promising for me: Roma Victor (not on the list) because its more for mature players seeing as its more of an rpg/sim than action game. I do think Hero's Journey has a shot though too. Simutronics is good for content so here's hoping for that game.
To be honest the games I'm really waiting for aren't even mmo's. Elder Scroll IV: Oblivian and Lionhead's "The Movies" (which is kind of multiplayer)

Agree with you about RV and ES IV.
If you want to bow out of DnL beta gracefully just give me a PM- i'll be happy to take over your beta duties
