Hey guys. After its success on reddit I thought I would repost my thread for you all to browse and contribute to. Because so little good information is currently available about the game, let's bang our heads together and share some of the tricks, tips, and obscure workarounds that we've discovered while playing through the TESO Beta.
I'll start things off: (EDIT Added new tricks from the community)
TIL that talking to nonessential NPCs will add new locations on your map to explore.
TIL that pressing the period key will put you into cursor mode, making menu interaction easier.
TIL that the tilde ("~") key will fast swap between your weapons after level 15.
TIL that there is an auto-loot box under the options gameplay menu.
TIL that you can repair all of your armor and equipment at a fishmonger. Or any other vendor.
TIL that you can remove a placed marker on your map by mousing over it and hitting the appropriate key, labeled at the bottom of your screen.
TIL that If an icon on your map is black, that means you still have quests to finish there. If it's white, you've completed them. EDIT: "Some icons do not refer to quests specifically. For example the "Torch" icon refers to a dungeon location that has an end-boss. The torch will go white if you kill that boss. Usually there's also an achievement tied to it. The skull and cross-swords icon means there's a world boss nearby. Killing the boss (or bosses, they can be multiple) will turn the icon white."
TIL that instead of selling all your gear/loot, you can extract minerals from them for use in crafting, with a chance to yield rare resources.
TIL that pressing 'T' changes what quest you are focusing on by cycling through your available quests
TIL that you can press numbers 1,2,3 to select conversation options instead of clicking on the response text.
TIL that skills level up in part based on which abilities are active on your hotbar--whether you use those abilities in combat or not.
TIL that reading bookshelves will sometimes raise your skills.

Just edit it? I'm not sure how much anyone cares about the NDA anymore as long as it's level 15 or below content.
Soooooooooooo ..... DAOC sucked?
I learned a few tricks too while playing this game. It's a two step process: Exit the game, then go to the control panel and uninstall it.
Alright I'll wait to hear from the moderators about it. Whatever they ask for I'll do.
