MMORPG down on 2/11, was it because of protesting NSA?

Did MMORPG participate in the NSA protest, I noticed it was down all morning on 2/11.   What was the reasons MMORPG would protest the NSA, is it because of Eric Snowden talking about how NSA is spying on mmorpg game chat like in WoW and other MMO's?
