Sausage gives me indigestion. I can't eat it.
Interesting side story:
So, about 10 years ago or so, my older brother and I shared an apartment. We typically went half and half on food and stuff. Anyway, this one night, we were totally broke, and we hadn't eaten in about 2 days or so. We were starving.
So we go into the kitchen to find something to eat.... ANYTHING to eat. We searched the whole kitchen and we found 2 things:
1 tube of Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sausage
1 Can of Sloppy Joe Manwich mix
My brother.... had an idea
He cooked up the breakfast sausage and then smothered it with the sloppy joe mix. Hey... when you're hungry... you'll try anything. He put half on one plate for me, and he took the other half.
We stared at one another for about 20 years with that smoldering steam encompassing our faces. We picked up the forks, put the breakfast sausage sloppy joe in our mouths and began to chew.
It took us about 2 seconds before we spit it out. We were hungry... but perhaps not that hungry lol.
We ended up turning the apartment inside out to find any loose change would could scrounge up. We ended up finding about $4 in nickels and dimes. We then went to Taco Bell and had one the biggest feasts of our lives. We never went hungry again.
True story.
In college one time, all I had to eat was Ramen Noodles for 3 weeks... They still give me nightmares!
If sausage and manwich turns your stomach, you haven't truly been hungry.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Hungry is when you have to eat some oatmeal with peas and a glob of crisco for flavor. That's true broke hungriness.
Just to question the philosophy. Army of Socrates.
Bacon is awesome too, but I am not paying $15 a month for it.
No but seriously I would be using a three monitor setup too. Is there any weird UI issues with this, like chat being way the fuck over to the left and I got strain my neck to look at it?
If Bacon isn't worth $15 a month I don't know whats wrong with you. Well I guess it depends how much bacon? Than again maybe not because any bacon is better than no bacon.
Aha! You see you have done a better job than most reviewers, I did in fact never specify exactly how MUCH bacon I buy per month.
But since you are comparing a subscription for a game that will give you almost unlimited 24/7 access to that game then you have to assume you will have the same unlimited access to the bacon or the comparison is useless.
Hmmm... Just imagine how much it would suck if the unlimited bacon were totally free, but you had to pay to use the microwave in the cash shop per use.
Weird... even THIS analogy makes F2P seem like a crappy deal.
are you really going to compare paying $15 a month to food, i mean come on $15 dollars get you a month of play and all the maintence that needs to go into MMOs, while food cost 10-15 dollars a meal if you cook it yourself ( im talking a real meal not hamburger helper ) and dont even get me started on out to eat food.
so really how can you compare something that lasts less then a hour to something that lasts a month as comparitive prices.
its just silly.
Uhhhh... huh?
1. When you type $15... you don't have to put the word "dollar" after it. The symbol $ is already clarifying that.
2. What are you even talking about?
3. Don't you think you're taking this a little further than it needs to go? Do you really want to get into some legal debate about the price of bacon?
slaps grammer nazi with fish.
as for the rest why am i takeing it to far but people before me are not, it sounds more like your trying to debunk my argument via makeing it look stupid rather then actully respond to it.
F2P may be the way of the future, but ya know they dont make them like they used to Proper Grammer & spelling are extra, corrections will be LOL at.

You realize how many people spend about $15 a month on bacon right? ..... If you like bacon you have to pay for it, there is no free bacon, so get over yourself, you aren't entitled to shit.
I can state for a fact my bacon consumption per month is less than $15. Its probably something like $15 per year. Your leap into an entitlement mentality is your own mental problem. My statement was purely factual. It was factual and satirical.
average price of bacon per pound is 4.63 currently in states ( i googled it )
there are 16-20 slices average normal cut per pound so lets say 18
lets say you eat bacon with breakfast 7 days a week ( i actully do about 6 days a week myseklf but i like a good breakfast )
and lets say 2 slice per meal ( i like 3 but im fat and greedy )
so that equates to roughly 60 peaes of bacon a month, 3.3 packages and $13.89 ( rounded to 3 ) or $18.52 ( rounded to 4 )
so yes for the price of your sub you could get enough bacon for a month.
of course i like other thing with my meal but thats just me, this has been a silly moment in the thread please come agian.
P.S. i did this just for you Notimeforbs
Whereas I like to eat bacon as a treat because its awseome, and don't eat it everyday because, for me, that would make it less awesome. I don't eat baked alaska everyday either.
I wonder whether other PvP games like GW 2 and that dark something game will suffer as a result. Well if they cannot do large scale battles without rubbish like culling they deserve to lose the people.

Darkfall won't I would say, as the draw of darkfall is more old school UO than DAOC. People saying that are jus the typical all pvp sucks without full loot types.
If TESO AvAvA is good enough I would assume it could hurt GW2 they have a very similar goals. People can differe about implementations and feel and other small features whatever. There is enough commonality that if one is obviously better than the other it should pull people away.

I said we obviously weren't that hungry - so what's your point? But even still... hunger or no hunger... if something tastes bad - it tastes bad. If we were truly starving, and ate it anyway... it doesn't change the fact that it was disgusting. And besides that, it was enough hunger to make sure we never went that hungry again.
Besides that - the worst experience of the moment wasn't that we thought about eating something so disgusting. The reality hit us when we decided to buy a few tacos at Taco Bell with a handful of nickels and dimes. It's a very humbling experience. It's not like people wonder why you're paying that way. People know. And besides that... we knew. We knew right then that we were going to have to do better in life so we wouldn't have to go through this again or something worse.
The point of the story wasn't to illustrate how we had it rough. I could tell you other stories for that purpose. The point was to share an anecdote about breakfast sausage, in light of the fact that this thread has seemingly been hijacked to now be about bacon. I'm pretty sure anyone imagining the idea of sausage and manwich could see how that doesn't really go together.
I can't stand it when even in a short adventure my brother and I experienced, people still have to feel like they need to compete with you and one-up your story.
"Oh... oh oh - You wanna hear a REAL story about going hungry? You don't even know what hunger is." Why would you even feel inclined to judge someone in such a way?
You don't have to compete with everyone on every little thing - especially about something as tragic as hunger. It's not a good thing if you've experienced worse.

Then you must not try many games...
I have...and I think the same in comparison to what has been released.
Now what? Got some crack at what I said?
Why are so many ppl still willing to go to a forum for an MMO they don't like? Why come to post you don't like it? Dude says he's fired up for ESO...what does it matter to you?
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....."
I had a bacon, tomato and roasted garlic pizza for dinner tonight. This just seems like the right place to share that...
