It's pretty stupid that they have such amazing racials for a stealthy-type cvharacter. I like Argonians, but their racials are for tanking, so no thanks.
I like the idea of powerful racials, but they should have had some kind of pool system - like where you can pick 1 weapon XP skill and 2 or 3 combat passives. Maybe not from all available, but from a limited pool.

I enjoyed my cat character forgot race name...made him look like a panther with a two handed sword and equipped him with heavy armor to look badass...now I know cat race isn't a tanking class and wondering if it will gimp my character because I didnt choose a tanking race which concerns me. Wondering if race plays a huge role later on. Being forced a specific race to a specific class is a huge letdown

to me personally the Daggerfall Covenant startin zone was boring as hell. Ebonheart and Aldmeri starting zone were more fun but the Aldmeri was the most enjoyable to me. But if i decide to buy the game i would have a main in each faction, a Wood Elf, Dark Elf, and Orc. Rogue, Mage, Templar respectively, and all built for dps.
I'm planning on a Templar/Khajiit (I really like the look of a lion type character with light abilities) but I know their racials don't really line up with the type of character I want to build. I'm thinking of just playing what I want regardless, but I am a bit concerned I will be notably weaker than I could be if I went an Imperial or Argonian.
I kind of wish Racials were a little less specialized. I get their lore standpoint, but at the same time, this game is suppose to encourage extreme freedom in your builds. Racials make it feel a bit guided.
Breton Nightblade mage with DC. Light armor with resto staff. Played an Argonian version of it in beta weekends.
First build will be to flesh out a pure mage version of dps and healing then train up skills for an assassin/bow build and also a tank build. I will be waiting until the Dark Brotherhood guild is released before I ever decide to consider Vampirism.
Main prof will be alchemy. Evidently I like picking flowers.
I thught about playing as Imperial, just to make all those people, complaining about Zenimax beeing greedy, even more angry, but I found the info that Imperial Edition sells 5x better than standard, so it seems rather pointless :P
Now I don't know if I want to continue my Breton character from Oblivion and Skyrim, or create a new one: either proud and ignorant Altmer, or wicked and cruel Argonian. It probably will depend on which aliance I want to play.
What I know is that, this time, I want to play a melee fighter, as opposed to the usual sneaking, lock picking, back-stabbing archer-thief-mage.

You planning on a heavy lifesteal build as well?
Oh yeah. Alternate between bow with siphon + vamp life steal and dual wield with the same to take advantage of the Imp life steal.

I won't decide until 2 days before head start!
I'll stick with what I did in beta and go Woodelf Nightblade, dual wielding until 15 where I'll use a bow secondarily.
My second character will be a Dragonknight, although not completely settled on race. She'll be more of a battlemage type, so possibly Breton...
+1
although i really wanted to be an orc but i can't pass up on them racials.
This, but not 100% on the bow yet. Might do a 2-hander for some knockdown.
LOL, now THAT would be funny...seeing a Nightblade running at you with a 2H!
I played my Dragonknight with a 2H and it felt "right" over a staff...so that's what my second character will be doing!

Either Imperial or Orc Nightblade or Dragonknight. I still need 1 or 2 beta weekends to decide which I want to play a tank as lol...
Will probably end up being Orc Dragonknight though, and will play in the Aldmeri Dominion, because Queen Beckinsale... lol...
orc templar healer / tank heavy armor 1h shield..
When a healer is with people in pvp going on any1 but the healer can be a bad target..
When that healer himself is a very bad target because he is a beast mode tank..
No1 dies ^^
Cya in cyri cant wait for this game for many of the faucets not just the pvp but I do love me some pvp.
