The official World of Warcraft site has been updated with news about some new things coming to PvP when Warlords of Draenor goes live later this year. The team has plans to add "skirmish" PvP matches, basically unranked 2v2 or 3v3 events that will reward players with honor, small amount of Conquest points and/or a random item. In addition, spectator invites will be made available to give viewers a chance to check out high-end tournament action.
Our new Spectator Invite system will allow a match organizer to invite two teams to play against each other in a PvP spectacle called a War Game. Then, when the match begins, everyone in the match organizer’s party will be able to watch those two teams duke it out. We’ll also be opening this feature up to add-on developers so they can come up with tools for tournament organizers to customize how the match is presented on the screen. Finally, we’ll be providing Tournament Mode gear—a special set of gear that can only be used in War Games—to help tournament runners ensure that all players are on equal footing.

i would most likely still playing World of warcraft if it wernt for all those Changes they made,
Everything so easy and it doesnt feel like the "hardcore" play as it was when max lvl were up to 60, yes i never played any worldofwarcraft update since the game came
But seen and Heard that it lost its hardcore touch and thats the sad part, it became a game a 5 year old kid can play without a problem.
Hello:D
rpg/mmorg history: Dun Darach>Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW > oblivion > LOTR > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(1000 elementalist), Wildstar
Now playing GW2, AOW 3, ESO, LOTR, Elite D
See i recently re subbed to WoW, mainly due to fact i moved countries and was left with just a crappy laptop, and if anything WoW does well it is it's ability to run on potato grade hardware, and i noticed that while yes, it's simplified, and made more "Accessible" most of other MMOs that released recently have about same degree of difficulty in them from the start.
In the end it's what the masses want and masses are the ones paying the bills, big profile companies can't ignore that hence it's less of a trend with WoW ins pecific and more of a trend in the industry as a whole.
I m just wondering...are all mmo players so skilled anymore that they see very easy to complete lets say HC Raids and Gold Medal on Challenge Mode Dungeons? Wondering what % of current WoW player base have completed the above or at least just the normal version of SoO after 5 months of the 5.4 release.
Imo ppl have mistaken Real Raiding with LFR
Or maybe i have lost my fit in mmo's comparing with others...
World PvP is a HUGE part of Warlords of Draenor. Patience, grasshopper! ))
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Liked the game where every player was urged to go out in the virtual world.
Now it is get to max, then sit in a hub afk for 99% of the time waiting for a instance popup to spawn.
