Originally posted by Kuviski Adventures seemed like Rift's Instant Adventure, a feature I greatly despise because it takes leveling out of the world and so separates players to even more instances, rewards you for brainlessness, doesn't encourage memorizing your questing route to optimize future character leveling, introduces more level-scaled content, discourages exploration and finally the feature just makes no sense.

The two statements I quoted above make you come off as a bit schizophrenic. People who play this type of game for raiding don't generally give a rats ass about "memorizing your questing route for future character leveling" ... or anything else to do with the progression TO the end game. Wildstar is clearly made for people with a normal mind set about that sort of thing...you're just wierd.
P.S. Wildstar is not my cup of tea either, btw...I just found it a little wierd how on the one hand you seem to be claiming to be a hard core raider and on the other hand you seem like a casual that spends all their time just leveling alts and ignoring end game.
Simply put, I am a hardcore player that likes doing all sorts of things. Raiding is what I see as the pinnacle of PVE gameplay, but if the rest of the game isn't appealing, I am not going to play the game just for the raid content.
World of Warcraft and Rift for example still have OK raids (that is if in WoW we disclude everything but hardmodes, and in both games raids could be done better but they're still alright), but its the rest of these games that puts me off.
I come from a classic PnP RPG background. So i am a bit biased when i say that this is most likley one of the best uses of instancing i have yet to encounter. It is like a very short... well... Adventure... in what at the sruface seems to be the world but without any chance of greifers ruin it because of "lulzwutarrrpeeegeees" as unfortunatly is very common in pretty much every game.
This is as close as you can get to a role-playing sensation in a MMORPG these days.
So yes it is more instancing but it is far from useless.

I didn't read the entire thing (Sorry) but it is nothing like Rifts Instant adventure. No need to worry about that.
Think of it like what swtor's dungeons were supposed to be like (In other words, choices/choose your own adventure)
