Should I buy Elder Scrolls Online?

I've been playing MMO's for the past 10 years now (theme park games and asian grinders) but never got into single player RPG games like the Morrowind series or even Skyrim. I briefly got the opportunity to beta and was indifferent about this game. I wasn't too fond of the animations and fight mechanics but I think I can get over it if the game-play and social aspects of the game improves throughout the exploring/leveling process. I'm much more used to the typical  WoW, Aion, Lineage 2, TERA, and Rift style of combat. Is this game for me or will I be wasting my money? Have a solid community with everyone working towards a specific goal is the type of game I tend to enjoy. Let me know! Thanks.

you aren't a fan of the IP and were indifferent about the actual game when you played it..  seems like no is the obvious answer.

that you even made this thread suggests your thinking about it though, maybe its just one of those times you feel like trying something new.  I guess the real question is, how much do you care about the $65?
