I want to play Wildstar because it combines good gameplay elements of other mmos while adding in its own zesty charms. Plus I'm a sucker for sci fi stuff.
I want to play in this beta because I'm a huge housing fan and I can spend hours customizing just about anything in a game. Wildstar sounds like it's made for me.
I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.
Although I am a recent fan of WildStar, I have never been so attracted to a MMO game. Growing up, I gave into World of Warcraft for a couple of months, but shortly lost interests for personal reasons. Since then I have pretty much steered clear of the genre, with some Guild Wars and Elder Scrolls Oblivion here and there. When I first laid my eyes on the unique graphics style, sweet combat system, and ridiculous rafting system I was in love. I'm hoping this will be the game that will capture my heart and attention for future years to come. Awesome job to the Devs! I am a CS student right now and love the stuff you guys are creating; innovative and sleek!
Just to say the truth... now its hard to find a good game that give you so much options in game, WildStar seems to be my main choice to play in 2014, so i would like to have a key for Beta to explore and mostly have fun in game
Two reasons. First, I would like to see what everyone is talking about. Second, I have written addon's for other games and I am interested in the LUA interface that Wildstar supports, and only beta people have access to their forums. Third, yes make that three reasons, I received a call from a friend who strongly suggested I join him this weekend as he has a weekend key. From what I see of the post count I expect the total to be in the 4,000 to 5,000 range. But a 20-25% chance to win is better than a lotto ticket.
It's list of features and attention to detail are looking to create a theme park mmo experience that I have not seen since the genre's glory days years ago. It updates the genre with the ease of use and constant engagement that have become standard in modern social multiplayer games. The game looks like a blast, coming at the right time to make a huge lasting impact.
I should get a shot at the Beta because my wife and I are having a baby soon, so I want a chance to not only vet the game (and make sure my wife will love it) before investing the money in a new PC for her and 2 copies of the game.
I know, it's not supposed to be a free demo, but really... why else would so many people want to work for a company for free?

I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.
