Only ones I know of are WWII Online, A Tale In The Desert II and Vendetta Online.  I think Roma Victor may be doing one as well - not sure about that.  Oh and Runescape's Java of course so that'd work.

Isn't WoW mac-ready? I'm probably mistaken but I thought it was.

I think there was one called "Steve Jobs's Pole-Riding Marathon" or something like that....Seriously though, I can't imagine any company willing to spend the money for a Mac version when they know it won't make any profit....

WoW does run on Mac's, not at the same levels as a high end PC obviously but my roomate has it running on her G4 pretty well.

Everquest (the original classic with all expansions up to and including Planes of Power) runs on the Mac. Furthermore, you can download the game installer and get a free 30 day trial key. Check out the front page or the fora at eqmac dot com for details.

Graphically, there are superior options available today. But the game Everquest is as enjoyable and engrossing today as it ever was.

Ok, actually there are a few games out for mac. WW2 online, World of Warcraft,Shadowbane, Clanlord, Everquest Mac Edition, and some other unfinished projects. World Of Warcraft runs just as well on a mac as it does a PC. I don't own a Mac anymore, but the G5s actually are faster systems then most Windows based PCs- plus the operating system Mac OS X is much more stable, and takes up less memory and proccesor speed then any version of Windows.

A note for the Everquest Mac Edition- If you play this game, you WILL NOT beable to play on the regular PC servers unless they changed this recently. Also, unless they changed this recently as well, very few of the expansion packs are out for the Mac Edition.

Your best bet for a quality and fun MMORPG would be World Of Warcraft. Tons of people to play with, decent graphics, lots of quests to do... Though it is better then the other mmorpgs out there for mac, It's deffinetly not the best choice if you have a PC. I personally don't like it anymore although I could try it again in the future.

Another note- Ultima Online is a great game, and although it has a 3d client most of the userbase actually uses the quite good 2d client. I ran ultima online under virtual pc on my powerbook g4 for quite some time without much lag- and that was a while ago. Now with the faster Mac proccessors and better versions of virtual pc, you should beable to run the Ultima Online 2d client flawlessly.
