Which is your Best of 3 ... 2014 MMO Poll.

A list drawn from my biased opinion of 3 titles that I find tantalisingly difficult to place in order of want .... just interested to see if there is a swing toward a particular title.

All will be out in 2014 no? Of those 3 I like Wildstar the best - but honestly WoW and ESO look very strong. I have played a ton of WoW so I can imagine how that is going to be. .But Zenimax has their shit together. ESO is much stronger then I had guessed.

Should really have a 'None of the above' option in there.

Looking forward to ESO.  Probably pick up Warlords as well.  No need for WildStar, with the real WoW having a new xpac soon in my opinion.

I went with Wildstar because I think it's very well-made.  ESO is a close second because I love the atmosphere of the game.  WoD is third only because I've played that game for years and am ready for something new.

Of course it's 2014 ....sheesh ... wishing my life away again .... I apologise for my blatant retardation and horrific error. I have bludgeoned myself with a table lamp as punishment hehehe ....

With that outcome I feel Carbine would reach for a carbine ..... but I must admit that notion did cross my mind. You can imagine how much funding Warlords is getting ... especially after the surge of interest in Wildstar clearly killed off Titan .... I think Blizzard have punishment in mind.

WoD. Tried also 2 others, but not my cup of tea. I wish them best luck.

I have loved WoW, but WoD will be the first xpac I don't buy. I can thank Wildstar for that. It's the first game in 10 years that actually has a shot at legitimately dethroning the King. I have played enough mmo's now too, I know what to look for, what I like, and I am 100% confident that Wildstar will replace WoW as my main mmorpg.

    That would be my choice.

Does lack the 'none' option. Wildstar Easily wins the list for me thus far with what I seen. ESO just felt like a cheap TES game (TES series not one I could ever get fully into, combat was just so bleh to me in single player and the MMO transition isn't any better).

WoD... I'm sorry but even if they wanted to revert their horrible design choices (which far outweigh positives they made lately) it wouldn't be enough to make me real excited for it. They pretty much butchered their own game and any repairs will be limited in what they could do at this point. They can't just ditch what they did, as much as I think a good majority would wish for things like the talent system change, they would need to ease it back if they did plan to do such.

Wildstar just has everything interesting for me that would make me want to play it, way over ESO and wow's nostalgia pretty much is nulified by the butchering blizzard did to its design.

None of those. D3 RoS expansion.

none of the above for me as well. Hopefully some of the more indie titles will make it out in 2014 because the AAA titles are dismal this year.

Not being pedantic but I don't think that Diablo is an MMO. I realize people can play it together at the same time and all that jazz but it has limitations and it is not an open world ..... it is very slick ... but an MMO ... nope.

However by the 'None of the Above' comments a dark and earthy Anti-Elf, Zombie Orc MMO in giant sand pits all over a huge universe ran by Guilds, Cartels, Conglomerates and the Devil ....... riding cyborg T-Rex's to their intergalactic Tie and Die Fighting Warpspeed XI Stealthship hanger ..... awaiting the call to open PVP and real time death ...would seem to be the answer.

Side point .....by definition I have always had serious misgivings about a chap who makes his in game avatar a woman ... or a Gnome .. dodgy ...

Sure .. not a "true" MMO. But it is close enough for me.

The official line is that it is going to redesigned from scratch. Given how Blizz killed their games (SC Ghost and that Thrall adv game), i am not surprised Blizz is scrapping Titan.

And even if not, i doubt Titan will be coming any time soon. Blizz has its plate full with the D3 expansion, SC2 Legacy of the void, Hearthstone still in beta, and a MOBA coming soon.

Well .... it might not be fully terminated ....BUT .... it has certainly had to go back to the drawing board. I also think that when you have successfully made a game like WOW why would you then decide to try something completely different. The thing is when someone else realizes you have got bored and want to try something new they see an opportunity to make what you have fallen out of love with better and improve it ..... but then on the way by complete accident they incorporate what you were trying to produce as new.........this amongst a bloated and complacent studio creates a panic and a cold bucket of water ... hey presto ..... Warlords .... but this is just a band aid .....

Titan is very probably, hugely likely, Worlds of War / Starcraft .... I would if it was me .... nevermind the folks that like Darkfall or Ultima Online ...

No interest in EverQuest Next and EverQuest Next: Landmark?

If you simply forgot them, alright. Otherwise I'd be interested in knowing what has drawn you away from the game.

I voted TESO for myself. The game has its problems but it's young and the community seems interested in petitioning the developers to change/fix things.

Though I will also be playing WoW:WoD as well.

Well ...... By the look of the Art Style in Everquest Next I would say that it is a new game in all but title ... and does fall into the catergory of .....well it worked for Bilzzard and South Korea laps it up. For me I think it is not yet anything close to a complete game and even though I really like some of the mechanics demonstrated .... inertia and collision ... I think that some of the anthropomorphic character designs are verging on the ridiculous .... tiny Lions head ... massive shoulders and little legs ... makes a Tauren look like a Da Vinci Sketch.

It's not the sexy choice but if history is any guide then the most probable outcome is that WoW will sell more boxes and still have millions of subscribers after ESO and Wildstar both go f2p.
