the Unofficial Oceanic Server for Elder Scrolls Online is Ebonheart pack

if you are part of the Oceanic Community join the Ebonheart pack server/faction when creating a character

there are more Guilds and players from Australia / New Zealand on the Ebonheart Faction so its the "Unofficial Server"

you will never see a player from another Faction when playing Elder Scrolls Online. you can travel to the other factions land after level 50 but its just a PVE zone for players level 50+ with ONLY players from your own Faction/Server.

if you are from Australia or New Zealand start out on Ebonheart pack

Nice idea, shame we prefer The Daggerfall Covenant starting areas so me and my New Zealand guild will be starting there.

you may want to talk to them and review the choice because the Oceanic Community is going to be spread very thin. on top of this there will be 26 Cyrodiil Battleground servers

PVP will feel empty/dead for our time zone

Care to share where you get this information from ? Because it looks like there may be more on Daggerfall.

Most places will be packed with players. With everyone on one server you'll be surprised how many people you'll see in the usual "dead" hours.  Even in PvP there should be some good action going on around the clock.

Not sure why everyone wouldn't want to spread out ....I'd think having coverage in every alliance would be the most enjoyable thing to do

In pve, since everything is phased, players should always appear plentiful. In pvp however the campaign populations have a cap and once full will therefore vary far more during a 24 hour period most likely. It seems to make far more sense that Oceanic players spread themselves out because they will end up in different campaigns anyway and will never see each other or choose the same campaign and and likely hardly see any organized enemy fighting in NA off-peak hours. If they actually want this then it seems they simply want easy mode pvp and take objectives at night when fewer NA players are online.

That said there should be plenty of overlap but organizing on a phased mega-server seems rather pointless for the most part. Guilds and campaign choice is the driving method to play along with others.

    You stay sassy!
